City Penthouse, designed by Hare + Klein, sits perched on the 56th and 57th level of a Pitt Street skyscraper in the Sydney CBD and was renovated to suit the client’s lifestyle. The design took advantage of the bird’s eye views, whilst creating a warm and inviting interior.

Intimate areas were successfully created using a mix of finishes such as stucco, stone, timber, grass cloth, metal laser cut screens, rugs, sophisticated lighting and furniture pieces. The original staircase was pared back and simplified to create a well-proportioned core to the apartment.

Tongue n Groove solid engineered European oak floorboards in the Raba colour, Eterno classic wire-brushed finish and Piccolo format feature throughout the interior of this apartment that includes both the floor and stairs. A bold, hand-finished linear effect offers texture to Raba’s solid black colouring with a hint of brown. This dark, moody hue offers a heightened sense of drama and opulence – a sure-fire talking point and fabulous investment.
